Food Review: Instinct Lamb Formula

DO NOT BUY Instinct Lamb Formula EVER AGAIN!

This makes me want to vomit. I don't care if the cats like it. The smell is disgusting. I had to leave the room and ask Winston to throw it out. I am reviewing it two days later and still want to vomit just thinking about it.

Why can you say "vomit" but I can't say "vomit?"

Of course, I am not trying to speak for Jennifer here, but I would like to mention that there is a big difference between saying "vomit" as a statment, and "vomit?" as a question. If one sees vomit or needs to refer to an even that involved vomit, of course one would say "vomit". However, you would only use "vomit?" in two situations that I can think of.

The first would be when you see a mess and are unable to identify it. If you think it might be vomit, and another person (Jennifer, for example) were nearby, you might want them to identify it for you. I can see how that person might have a problem with this.

The second case would be if you were attempting to offer vomit to someone (Jennifer, for example), as in "Would you like some vomit?". And that's just wrong.

Well, Eric, that is clever, but Jennifer won't let me say "vomit" under any circumstances. As far as the question mark inside the quotation marks, it is my understanding that punctuation marks always go inside the quotation. But I would have to agree that there aren't many occasions to use "vomit" in the interrogative sense. Although, I really want to have the opportunity to do it soon.
